My Little Cat
This is a story
About my little cat
She isn’t very smart
And she isn’t very fat
Now my fuzzy little kitty
Went out to play
It was a warm spring day
In the middle of May
She played in the grass
And rolled around in sand
Then she came to me
And started to demand
She meowed at me
And was unbearably loud
She leapt up to me
And I fell to the ground
The next thing I heard
Was a soft beep
I was in hospital
And she was fast asleep
My deplorable cat
Was sleeping on my lap
She had caused trouble
And all she did was nap
I yelled at her
And pushed her away
I had to get rid of her
This very day!
But then it happened again
She started to mew
But I guess I gave up
Because I mewed too
I love my cat
So I showed my love
I mewed with her
My voice like a dove
When I was discharged
I took her out
I carried her
And walked about
I hummed slightly
As I walked home
Just me and her
Us alone
About my little cat
She isn’t very smart
And she isn’t very fat
Now my fuzzy little kitty
Went out to play
It was a warm spring day
